About Tradish

Keep the story. Make dinner.

A recipe can come from a family card, a cookbook page or something you found online. Tradish brings it into a collection you can read, organise and cook from.

A recipe collection should earn its place in your kitchen.

Saving is only the beginning. Tradish connects the recipe you found with the meal you want to make, while leaving room for the people and stories behind it.

  1. Bring it together

Photograph a written recipe, paste the text, add a supported link or write your own. Keep the source close, whether that is a handwritten card or the page that inspired dinner.

  2. Make it yours

Check the reading, correct a quantity and keep the useful notes. Organise recipes into cookbooks, tag the ones you return to and choose who can contribute.

  3. Put it to use

Read ingredients and directions while you cook, adjust servings, plan a week or save a menu. Send the ingredients you need to a grocery list instead of copying them out again.

What we care about

Useful tools. Room for your judgment.

The source matters

A clean cooking copy should not erase the handwriting or context it came from. For scanned recipes, the source photo stays attached. Notes and variations can tell the rest of the story.

You have the final say

AI can misread a card or miss something said in a video. Review the result, check quantities and cooking instructions against the source, and keep uncertainty visible. A confident answer is not proof.

Sharing is a choice

A private recipe, a shared family cookbook and a published recipe have different audiences. Choose the people and permissions that fit. Discover is for deliberately public recipes, not your private collection.
